The iPhone maker has finally brought an important addition to the iOS home screen. You can now remove apps from your home screens and even eliminate the entire screen. The apps will still remain in new App Library. You can land on the new screen by swiping on the final home screen on the iPhone.
Widgets have been part of the iPhone for quite some time. iOS 14 introduces an overhauled widgets experience. The new widgets experience offer more information and a bunch of new sizes. The most notable change is that you can drag the widget right off the Today view and on the home screen.
Siri taking over the entire screen is a thing of the past. When you trigger Siri on iOS 14, it simply shows Siri blob at the bottom of your display. It can show a lot of the result as a rich notification at the top of your screen.
Picture in Picture mode was earlier listed to an iPad. With iOS 14, even the iPhone gets the PiP mode. You can swipe back to the home screen while the video continues to play in a small box.
iOS 14 makes photo hiding much better. There is a way to set through which hidden albums are completely hidden until you turn it back on.
