[Los Angeles joint]It was found that multiple gorillas were infected with the new coronavirus at a zoo safari park in the suburbs of San Diego, California, USA. The garden announced on the 11th. It is suspected to have been infected by an asymptomatic employee, and is said to be “the first case in which a natural infection to a great ape was found.”

Two gorillas showed signs of coughing on the 6th, and when the feces were examined, the virus was detected in the provisional results on the 8th. Furthermore, an agency of the Ministry of Agriculture confirmed positive on the 11th. The gorilla herd is said to be currently isolated.

The safari park has been closed since December 6th last year.
