[Collaboration in London]Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg (18) participated in the online meeting “Davos Agenda” hosted by the Swiss think tank “World Economic Forum (WEF)” on the 25th, and each country as a measure against global warming. He criticized that the goals set by the government and others were “ambiguous and inadequate.”
Greta expressed a pessimistic view on the realization of each country’s greenhouse gas emission reduction targets. He pointed out that the long-term goal setting is like “waiting for 10 years, 20 years, 30 years to contact the fire department even though my house is on fire.”
Greta argued that unless we treat global warming as a real crisis, we won’t get enough change.
