Multiple users are being invited by Facebook to try the new interface. The screenshots are being circulated by these testers on the internet. The new version of the website looks similar to Twitter. Facebook has labeled this new interface as ‘Facebook Beta’. You can become part of the testing group by switching to dark mode.
The report by Android Police suggests that you can toggle between dark and light mode from your account settings. Facebook Beta is also clearer and easier to use. The large fonts and streamlined navigation helps in saving your position if you are scrolling through the news feed.
The platform often limits its betas to specific countries but the testing group has included users from all over the world. Facebook is randomly prompting users to try the new interface. After accepting the invitation to try the new UI, Facebook asks if you would like to keep the white or toggle to dark layout. You can change the choice from quick settings, which is accessible from the top right avatar in Facebook profile.
In case you haven’t received notification to try the new interface, you will have to wait until Facebook pushes the public release of the dark mode.
