The shock of a lifetime awaited a customer who had ordered an iPhone on Flipkart during the e-commerce website’s Big Billion Days Sale. While he anticipated a new, shiny iPhone, the package that arrived on his doorstep a couple of bars of soap.
The customer had reportedly ordered an Apple iPhone 12, worth Rs 53,000 during the Flipkart sale but the box instead had Nirma soap worth Rs 5. This incident has shocked netizens as Flipkart is one of the most trusted online shopping portals out there.
Thankfully, the customer refused to share the OTP with Flipkart delivery agent. He also complained about the customer care of the ecommerce major.
After a few days of effort and negotiations with the delivery person, Flipkart reportedly accepted the mistake. Flipkart has also cancelled the order and initiated the refund for the order. The customer has reportedly received the money in his bank account.
