iPhone 12 to come with 6GB RAM, 5G, and 3D camera

New rumours around Apple’s upcoming iPhone reveal the specifications of the smartphone. The iPhone 12 series is expected to launch in September next year. The information floating around the internet says that iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will feature 6GB RAM.

The current iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have 4GB RAM. The upcoming iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will sport 6GB of RAM. Apart from the increased RAM, the smartphones will also come with 3D sensing cameras and support for mmWave 5G. It is unclear whether these phone swill work on any 5G network below 6GHz band.

According to Barclays, the 3D sensing camera will be used for supporting the Augmented Reality (AR) apps. The sensor will also be used to scan the frame used to create 3D reconstruction of the real-world. The sensor will be used to create a revolutionary AR experience.

It is confirmed that the next generation of iPhones will sport a front facing camera that will feature FaceID. The iPhone 12 will also get a smaller notch for housing the FaceID.

Apple will also launch the successor of iPhone SE. The iPhone SE2 is the smartphone which has been in works for a long time. The information suggests that iPhone SE2 will resemble the design of iPhone 8 and sport a 4.7-inch display. The device will retain the TouchID home button as well. iPhone SE2 will be powered by Apple A13 chip coupled with 3GB RAM, the device will be introduced in March.
