iQoo 3 5G smartphone launched in India; price starts at Rs 36,990

Chinese smartphone maker, iQoo has launched its first smartphone in India. The iQoo 3 is the first smartphone to come with 5G and 48-megapixel quad-camera setup in India.

While telecom operators are still testing the 5G networks in India, iQoo3 already supports 5G. The device is also offered in the 4G variant. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 55W flash charge, and 4440 mAh battery. The smartphone comes in two storage options of either 128GB or 256GB.

iQoo 3’s main highlight is the quad-camera setup. The primary camera setup includes 48-megapixel primary sensor along with the 13-megapixel telephoto lens unit that offers 10x zoom. The 13-megapixel super wide-angle lens comes with 120-degree FoV and 2-megapixel macro and bokeh effects. On the front, it houses a 13-megapixel camera.

The massive 4400 mAh battery can easily last for 24 hours on a single. The fast charging helps in topping up the battery juice to 50% in just 30 minutes. Both the 4G and 5G variants are offered in 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM options. iQoo 3 is powered by the latest Android 10 OS with the iQoo UI 1.0 theme. The 6.44-inch HDR 10+ Super AMOLED display.

The smartphone is available in three colour options – Quantum Silver, Volcano Orange, and Tornado Black. The device will go on sale on Flipkart and official website on 4th March. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 36,990. The 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage comes with the price tag of Rs 39,990. ICICI Bank debit and credit card customers can avail Rs 3,000 cash back.
