Meta adds new privacy features for WhatsApp users in India

Meta has introduced new features to WhatsApp for the Indian users to make WhatsApp safer for users. The new features that the Meta-owned messaging platform has rolled out include:

Till now, whenever you try to log in to a WhatsApp account, you have to enter a six-digit one time password (OTP) that the platform sends on your registered mobile number. Without entering the right OTP you can not access your account. With the Flash call feature, you can skip this process. The feature allows you to verify yourself through an automated call. As of now, the feature is only available on Android devices.
