In this race of video conferencing, Microsoft Teams has picked up their game with some new elements like contacts in a single location. Additionally, the Apple CarPlay is also included in Microsoft as team support.
According to the reports of VentureBeat, the new features will be included in the Microsoft Teams in 2021 including the transfer calls feature that makes it easy to transfer calls between desktop and mobile.
Additionally, Microsoft Teams will also have a feature of low-data mode that will cap the amount of data during video calls. These features will include the network availability – Wi-Fi, Cellular, and always along with a new spam call identification tool.
The motive of Microsoft behind all these features is to receive and make calls easily with the help of CarPlay support. However, it is still not clear whether the support will be on Android Auto. This is a great way to be at a top race with Google Meet and Zoom.
The total number of calls made using Microsoft in October was around 650 million that is 11 times more than that was noted in March, earlier this year.
