Twitter all set to revamp TweetDeck platform this year

Twitter is working on a major overhaul of its TweetDeck platform. The platform helps users in arranging feeds into vertical rows that makes it easily readable. Product chief Kayvon Beykpour stated that the company aims to share about the project in detail later this year. An alternative platform by Twitter, TweetDeck offers a range of features like access to various timelines available in the form of columns, tweet scheduling and more.

TweetDeck did not receive any major update in the last 10 years in terms of design or features. The app launched approximately 12 years ago and was acquired in 2011 by Twitter. Twitter has brought in new functionalities to the main website and mobile applications while maintaining the Tweetdeck design.

The upcoming overhaul is a move to improve Twitter developer tools and build a great relationship with the app development community. However, Beykpour did not indicate whether the new TweetDeck will be released soon or it is just a preview. It is also not clear whether the revamped TweetDeck will flaunt a new look and feel or features. No matter how the TweeDeck platform evolves it will definitely be exciting for TweetDeck users.
